フィックスドギアバイクにどれくらい乗ってる？
２年ぐらい乗ってるよ。

他に何か自転車乗ってた？
BMXレースを８歳から１３歳までやっていて、その後スケートボードにハマったんだ。そして今はフィックスドギアバイク。また自転車に夢中になったんだ。

好きなトリックは？
バニーホップバースピンとノーズマニュアルだよ。１００%集中しないといけないからね。

新しいトリックは？
いつも新しいトリックやラインに取り組んでるけど、今は特にないかな。

今ヨーロッパにいるんでしょ？
そうだよ。実は今ロンドン駅にいるんだ。

マジで？何してるの？
ロンドンでThe Revivalを作った、ウェインモーハートと待ち合わせてThe Revivalのプレミアツアーをしているんだ。これからパリ、ロッテンダム、ケルンに行く予定だよ。今のところ超良い感じだよ。比較的天気も良いし、自転車乗ってて最高に面白いよ。

バンクーバーでもプレミアをやったんでしょ？
バンクーバープレミアも超調子良かったよ。１６０人以上の人が集まって超盛り上がってた。みんな友達が出てる間ずっと叫んでたよ。ヤバかったよ。

A short interview with Tyler Johnson. He killed the movie, The Revival.

What’s your name?
Tyler Johnson

Where are you from?
I was born in San Diego, California but reside just outside of Seattle, Washington

Age?
22

Who are you riding for?
I ride for Leader Bikes, HPLUSSON, Coal Headwear, and Profile Racing.

How long have you been riding a track bike?
I have been riding a track bike for almost 2 years now.

Do you have any bike experiences?
I raced bmx, as a kid, from 8-13 and then got really heavily into skateboarding. Track bikes definitely got my attention back to cycling though.

What’s your favorite trick?
My favorite tricks are bunnyhop barspins and nose manuals. I think they are my favorite because you have to commit 100 percent to both tricks.

New tricks?
I am always working on new things and doing new lines, but I don’t have anything exceptionally new right now.

Are you somewhere in Europe right now?
Yes, I am in the train station in London right now actually.

Why?
I flew over here to meet up with Wayne Morhart and do the Revival premiere tour. We are going to London, Paris, Rotterdam, and Cologne.

How is it going there?
So far the trip has been great. The weather has been relatively nice and the riding has been super fun.

How was the revival premiere in Vancouver?
The vancouver premiere has been my favorite so far. There were over 160 people, and everyone was super excited. People were yelling almost the entire more cheering on their friends and cheering for the riders. It was a great time.

Last words?
I just want to say thanks to Keo, Hiro, and everyone else who has ever helped me out or inspired me to ride my bike. And I think I am going to Japan in March. Get out there have fun and go fast. SHRED!
