I have a pretty sweet roadie that I’d bet the readers of your blog would have a difficult time identifying. I’ll give you a couple of clues; It’s American made, rear drop out spacing: 126mm, and only the headset is original. If you look closely at the image labeled “Cassette”, I had to space out the derailleur to allow clearance for the chain while it is on the smallest cog. The derailleur mounting bolt was protruding through the hanger by about 3mm.
